Religious based education and mobilization is a key organizing strategy for SisterReach, Inc. as a reproductive and sexual justice (RSJ ) organization based in the “bible belt” south.

SisterReach invites proposals for the Faith, Advocacy & Religion Symposium (FARS) 2025,
October 8–11 in Memphis, TN.
This year's theme: Sacred Resistance: Truth, Justice, and Divine Purpose explores how faith traditions call us to challenge injustice and work toward collective liberation.
We seek workshop proposals addressing the intersection of faith, advocacy, and reproductive and sexual justice.
We Welcome Proposals On:

The Faith, Advocacy & Religion Symposium (FARS) is an annual gathering that deepens conversations at the intersection of human rights and sacred understandings to inspire collective action. FARS creates an intentional space for clergy, laity, community members, religious scholars, and advocates to explore these intersections bravely and compassionately. Together, participants engage in transformative dialogue that merges spirituality and advocacy.

The Faith, Advocacy & Religion Online Institute is designed to equip religious leaders, laity, advocates, and individuals with the knowledge, tools, and strategies to engage in human rights and social justice work through a faith-based lens. Combining theological insights, advocacy training, and intersectional learning objectives, the institute bridges the sacred and the practical to foster transformative change.
