As we reach the midpoint of 2025, I’ve been reflecting on what it truly means to live out hope in action. One beacon that continues to shine is the Faithful Majority for Reproductive Freedom—a bold, multi-religious coalition that reminds us faith, compassion, and justice are not only compatible, but powerful together.

Their declaration is both clear and courageous:

 

“Religion isn’t a weapon. It’s a force

for protection, healing, and liberation.”

 

Leaders like Sheila Katz of the National Council of Jewish Women affirm this truth with conviction:

 

“Our religious freedom and our reproductive

freedom are inseparable.”

 

That truth is both urgent and undeniable. As states like South Carolina push to defund Planned Parenthood, we’re reminded: this isn’t just a

political moment—it’s a moral one.

 

Now more than ever, religious communities must rise—not in fear, but in fierce love. Not only from pulpits, but through public witness, policymaking, and radical commitment to human dignity.
